What colognes do you wear and recommend, and where do you buy yours? I don’t normally wear cologne or deodorant because I don’t actually need it, but I would like to explore recommendations.

Does using Old Spice deodorant count?

I’m not sure I’ve ever actually bought cologne, and yet I somehow manage to have enough to last me several lifetimes. It just sort of appears.
Cologne is one of those things that smells different on different people, so what smells one way on me might smell different on you. My advice is to buy a box with a bunch of small bottles (usually sold around the holidays as gift boxes), and see what works for you.

That’s a big nope. The decision to avoid cologne was cemented when a friend of mine dropped a giant brand-new bottle of Polo right outside of his locker in one of the school hallways. The smell was so strong w e could hardly walk down that hallway for a month.
Full of the sound of the Gran Fury, signifying nothing.

I rarely wear cologne or use deodorant. I will occasionally use some anti-perspirant, mostly as a lubricant. I’m lucky in that I rarely stink when I sweat.
I do have some sandalwood aftershave from Taylor of Old Bond Street that I bought via Amazon. I keep misplacing it so I rarely use it. I think I saw it in February but then it d isappeared again...
If anything, I spray myself down with Febreze before going out.

I like to spritz on some Drakkar Noir before I put on my over- sized flannel jacket and listen to some Nirvana on my Sony Discman.

Usually I wear a combination of MIL-PRF-7808L turbine engine oil and Jet-A. JP-8 was a much more pleasant smelling fuel, but Jet-A is all the rage these days.

In the most part I use Lynx Africa. Both the shower gel and deodorant.
I think you you and the rest of the world call it Axe, but it’s Lynx in the U.K.
I have hyperhi drosis so I need something to help control it.
If I’m out for an evening though I’ll wear Emporio Armani Diamonds, it’s nice, not overly youthful but it suits me. I used to like Armani Code or He.
I’m looking for a new one actually but there is so many out there.

Walk over to Macy’s or Ulta or similar store which carries a lot of them. An y place worth it will have samples of just about everything they sell, which you can spray on test strips. They also have cans of coffee to smell between strips to clear the last smell out of your nose.
Once you find what you like, spray it on the inside of your wrist, just once, and rub on both wrists. Smell it and make sure it still smells good, and don’t buy it yet - see if you still like the smell in an hour or so. If not, rinse and repeat.
Just remember - a little bit goes a long way. You want to be that guy that smells good for someone really close, and even then they have to wonder is it you. You don’t want to be the person no one wants to share an elevator ride with.
I have a bottle of Aqua di Gio and a bottle of D&G Light Blue and I like them for summer. I did like Aqua di Gio Apsolu as well, it is more musky and I’ll probably buy some when I get a chance.

, otherwise Lush makes a great one called “Devils Nightcap”. It smells fucking great, and is exactly how you should smell while drinking a Manhattan.
